About Ella

Ella is a high school student who joined the Girl Scouts in the fall of 2020, and shortly after, started her first cookie business. After all, it was COVID and she didn’t have much else to do.

She had a lot of fun. Too much fun. She saw how cookies made people happy, gave them a little bit of normal in un-normal times. And in that, a mission was born: Spreading joy through cookies.

Ella set modest sales goals, and when one was met, she set the next one higher. One day she just decided to see how high she could go. In 2020 She went on to sell 4,919 boxes, receiving the 2021 “Top Seller” award. For 2022 she followed that up with over 3,700 boxes sold, earning her the #2 top seller spot.
