GSEMA Scouts and customers donated 44,000+ packages of cookies—setting a new record for the council

Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (GSEMA) kicked off its Cookies for a Cause Girl Scout Cookie donation program with a donation of over 500 packages of Girl Scout cookies to Boston Children’s Hospital healthcare workers and staff. This Girl Scout Cookie drop celebrated the first of several Cookies for a Cause donations.

All in all, the Scouts’ creativity and drive led to an impressive 44,328 packages of cookies donated online this year, which has additionally been distributed to members of the USO and Hanscom Air Force Base, and more. Check out the stats from this year's program!

As for local Falmouth Scouts, additional cookie donations from the community were donated to the Falmouth Service Center, Falmouth Military Support Group, and the Waquoit Church’s meals outreach program for home-bound individuals.
